Rexroth hydraulic filter element
Filter element is a product used for filtering hydraulic oil in hydraulic and lubrication systems, removing pollutants from the system. The Rexroth filter element uses high-quality glass fiber filter material. The service life of the filter element will also vary depending on the raw materials used. As the usage time prolongs, impurities in the hydraulic oil will clog the filter element, and the activated carbon filter element will adsorb and saturate. So, generally speaking, PP filter cartridges need to be replaced after 3 months, while activated carbon filter cartridges need to be replaced after 6 months. Hollow fibers, which cannot be cleaned, are usually placed at the back end of PP cotton and activated carbon for use, otherwise they are more prone to clogging.
Rexroth filter replacement
- Shut down the system and remove the filter while the pressure is unloaded.
- Rotate counterclockwise to unscrew the filter cup or base. Clean the filter housing with an appropriate medium.
- Gently rotate and remove the Rexroth filter element from the middle sleeve of the filter head.
- Check the position and damage of the sealing ring and support ring in the filter cup. If necessary, replace these components.
